Command Menu

The field is a combobox over a listbox; the highlighted row is exposed with aria-activedescendant, so focus never leaves the field.

Up and Down move the highlight and wrap, passing over group labels; Enter opens the highlighted row.

Escape clears the query and filter first, then closes the menu; the result count is read politely as it changes.

Filter tags are toggle buttons with aria-pressed; groups are labelled by their headings.
