Cookie Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

Orvain UI counts its traffic with Google Analytics, which uses cookies only where you allow them. Apart from that, the only things stored are the ones a purchase needs, and they are all listed here.

Browsing the site

The one third-party script is Google Analytics, which we use to count visits, pages, how far down a page people read and which part of it they spend time on, and a few actions such as opening checkout or joining the newsletter. It sets two first-party cookies, _ga and _ga_<id>, which hold a random id so a returning visit counts once; they last up to two years. Google receives the page address, your browser type and your IP address with each hit. Advertising features are switched off: nothing is used for ads, remarketing or profiles across sites, and there is no advertising network or social tracking pixel.

Under the same consent we keep one first-party cookie of our own, orvain_src. It notes where your first visit came from (the referring site, or the campaign tag on the link you followed) and the page you landed on, and lasts six months. If you buy, that note is attached to your order, so we can tell which channels bring customers. It holds no id and goes nowhere else.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, neither Analytics nor orvain_src sets a cookie until you allow it on the small card in the corner of the page. Until then, and if you choose No thanks, it sends only cookieless pings that cannot recognise you from one visit to the next.

What this site stores

After a purchase, the thank-you page saves your order number in your browser's local storage (under orvain:figma-order), so coming back to that page opens your file again without digging out the receipt.

If you use the sign-in on this site, your signed-in state is kept in local storage the same way (orvain:session). Nothing here is used to track you, and you can clear it at any time from your browser's site settings.

Stripe's checkout

When you press a buy button, you are taken to Stripe's checkout page on Stripe's servers. Stripe is our payment processor, and its page may set cookies or use storage of its own to process your payment securely and prevent fraud. Nothing from Stripe loads on this site, and you are not sent there, until you press buy.

Stripe's use of them is covered by Stripe's cookie and privacy policies at stripe.com/legal.

Your choice

The purchase storage above exists only to take the payment you started or to give you back the file you bought, so there is nothing to ask about. The Analytics cookies are optional, so where the law asks for consent we ask first. Your answer is kept in local storage (orvain:analytics). To change it, clear this site's data in your browser's site settings and the card comes back, or block the cookies there at any time.

Checking for yourself

Open your browser's developer tools, look under Application or Storage, and load any page on this site: apart from the Analytics cookies, the cookie list stays empty until you open the checkout.
