Who is responsible

Orvain UI is operated by Astrolab group LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, registered at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, DE 19958, United States. Astrolab group LLC is the data controller for the information described here.

When you buy

Purchases are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects the details needed to take the payment: your email address, country, postcode where required, payment details and, for business purchases, your company name and tax number. Your card or other payment details go to Stripe and never reach us.

Stripe shares with us the order itself: your email address, your country, what you bought, the amount and the order number. We use them to deliver the file (including one email with the link to it), answer questions and refund requests about your order, and keep the records tax and accounting law require.

Stripe handles the data it collects under its own privacy policy, at stripe.com/privacy.

When you get in touch or join the list

Your email address, if you join the launch list or write to us through the contact form. A launch-list address is used to tell you when the code library and MCP server are available and to send the discount offered alongside that. A contact-form address is used to reply to you.

Why we may use it

Order details are used to perform the contract you entered by buying and to meet our legal obligations. A launch-list address is used because you asked for it and can withdraw that consent at any time. A contact-form address is used to answer the message you sent.

Your browser

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits, pages and a few actions such as opening checkout, so Google receives the page you viewed, your browser type and your IP address, and its cookies hold a random id that lets a returning visit count once. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland those cookies are only set if you allow them. Advertising features are off. Under the same consent, a cookie of our own notes where your first visit came from, and it is kept with your order if you buy. After a purchase it keeps your order number in your browser so you can reopen your file, and Stripe's checkout uses its own storage while you pay. The Cookie Policy lists exactly what is stored.

Who else sees it

Stripe, for purchases, as described above. Google, which provides Analytics. Resend, which sends the email with the link to your file after a purchase. Vercel, which hosts the site and processes technical request data such as IP addresses to serve the pages, as any web host does.

Your information is not sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing, and never will be. Stripe, Google, Resend and Vercel may process it outside your country, under the safeguards their own policies describe.

How long it is kept

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, which is usually several years. A launch-list address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed. A contact-form message is kept as long as it takes to deal with what it was about.

Your rights

If the GDPR or the UK GDPR applies to you, you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw consent at any time. Similar rights exist under other regimes. Some order records have to be kept by law even if you ask for deletion.

Email hello@contactoussema.uk and it will be dealt with. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

This policy changes when the product does: accounts and the code library will both mean new processing. The date above is updated whenever it does, and material changes will be announced before they take effect.
